Free Time Ideas

There's a lot to do at Sundance besides write, read, and revise. Here are some suggestions.

dot.gif (278 bytes) Drive over the Alpine Loop. This is best done on your way from the airport to Sundance, and you will need a car. If interested, let me know about a week prior to the retreat and I can give you some tips.

dot.gif (278 bytes) Take Ray's Scenic Lift Ride for beautiful eagle-eye  views of the surrounding mountains. The round-trip ride  is about 30 minutes. Cost: $7.

dot.gif (278 bytes) Hike. Besides the hike to Stewart Falls, there are dozens of mountain hikes you can take. Ray's Lift can take you to a couple of them. If interested, e-mail me or call Sundance at (801) 223-4121 or 1-800-892-1600.

dot.gif (278 bytes) Relax at the spa for a massage, body work, skin care, or manicure and pedicure.

dot.gif (278 bytes) Eat. There are three Sundance restaurants: The Tree Room is expensive, the Foundry Grill is reasonably priced and provides indoor and outdoor seating, and the Deli is least expensive with no seating. The Owl Bar provides a unique setting; click here for information.
